I co-founded Wycombe Sound 106.6fm in 2013 and the station became fully licenced by Ofcom in 2016.     Within its first year, the station won seven awards including “Station of the Year” at the Community Radio Awards 2017.

You can listen to our Gold Award Winning “Station of the Year” audio here.

Or how about Pippa’s Silver Award Winning “Female Presenter of the Year”

Community Radio is on the up.   There are now more than 260 Ofcom licenced FM stations across the UK.  The range on offer is very wide – from those with a very  commercial sound to some set up as a vehicle to deliver training in confidence-building and employability skills.   There is simply no one-size-fits-all approach.

Together with a network of talented professionals, I can help with the following:-

  • Defining your target audience
  • Attracting and retaining volunteers
  • Designing your schedule
  • Making programmes which will engage your audience
  • Training
  • Business plans
  • Technical aspects
I can also provide radio production training including recording, editing, multi-tracking, effects. Programme design, scripting, interviewing. Production of magazine programmes, soundscapes, public service announcements, promotions and jingles.    Radio presenting skills including programme content design, vocal styles and microphone technique.
“Pippa is easy to listen to with a warm vocal quality while also being strong and authoritative, a sound that is rare amongst female presenters. She is also a strong organiser, and as Programme Director, she inspires her colleagues to develop skills they didn’t realise they had.”
Chris Phillips, Managing Director, Wycombe Sound 106.6fm
